Now you want to argue that your fundamentalism is logical? You *will* lose if you pursue that line of argument.
What people tend to do is argue that blind faith isn’t harmful, not that their religious beliefs are logical. Even a child can see they aren’t. The very essence of personal religion is the irrationality.

I knew you’d argue that your beliefs are logical. So what if I disagree that my beliefs are illogical, and yours are? Even if I were wrong, shouldn’t I be able to totally disregard your beliefs? I would think that you’d respect someone even if you disagree with them.

You’re missing the point entirely. Beliefs don’t merit respect just because they’re beliefs. If beliefs merit respect at all, it’s because they’re well-supported by logic and reason.
Religion pretty much never is.

I’m not gonna argue religious points, but tell me this (in response to your third bolded statement): if you believe that you can “fuck” my beliefs, because you hold them as ridiculous, saying that you don’t have to respect them (forgive me if I’m getting your point wrong), does that mean I can “fuck” your beliefs in return?

I laugh at my friend because she’s kinda overly Christian and kind of hypocritical. She has the “God doesn’t like gays” feel, but she has friends who happen to be gay.

And she has Jesus magnets all over her locker. ALL OVER O\__/O How can you have that many? It’s like several hundred magnets all containing passages involving God.

Jewishness has that. Most religions don’t, or at least not to those extents.
This falls partially under the “I just like the ceremony” bit, but when it’s to the extent of Jewishness, that doesn’t really hold true. Or not entirely, anyway.

What about people who feel the culture, not the religion? Like I call myself Jewish ’cause it’s way more than going to temple and whatnot (note, I’ve never been to a ceremony that wasn’t a bat/bar mitzvah or a funeral). Do you laugh at people like me, too?
