Especially because it was almost forced on us because of its economic benefits. Unfortunately many people fail to see this is just a holiday to fill the gap between summer vacation and 'Sinterklaas' for the commercial world. What is there to do on Halloween? You can go waist your money on decorations for your house or on special 'halloween markets'. Other than that, there's nothing to it. Our Germanic "Halloween" is now christianized to Allerheiligen/Allerzielen. We don't need another holiday celebrating the same thing.
