Personal update~
Apparently we’re still doing the family New Year’s party on Saturday. I’m not entirely sure where it’ll be, but I’ve been told it’s a two-hour drive, which is really clever considering my grandfather’s physical condition.
He’s doing better, though. Apparently he was walking around with his walking frame lifted up to his knees because he thought it slowed him down too much.
Maia went/is going back to Canadu today, road-trip-with-mom style, which actually sounds like fun.
I’m having far too much fun antagonising Skatje‘s friends on Facebook, but they seem to be afraid to enter into any real debate. If you have a Facebook account, join in.

Also, the Pharyngula chat room (#pharyngula on irc.zirc.org) seems to be enjoying a renewed popularity after Skatje’s dad plugged it last night. Come and visit, whydontcha.
